After 11 played minutes El ABUELO FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Etxekopar. In the 13th minute of the match, Emilio Machado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gaudencio Manny was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 14 minutes into the game, Alfredo Joachim threw the ball into play from the sideline. Werneck FC - DMZ's Baybars Tayguner quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Azevedo in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Donciu saved Werneck FC - DMZ from getting behind. In the 21st minute of the match El ABUELO FC got a corner. Werneck FC - DMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ildefonso Gonzo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on El ABUELO FC's corner Ildefonso Gonzo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Felix Donciu quite easily take care of the ball. When Alfredo Joachim fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El ABUELO FC's protests and gave Alfredo Joachim a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to El ABUELO FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alfredo Joachim hit a great ball. Gaudencio Manny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, El ABUELO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Machado came free, but Gaudencio Manny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Machado took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaudencio Manny. Gaudencio Manny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 36 minutes into the match, Emilio Machado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaudencio Manny. El ABUELO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Machado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. El ABUELO FC's Gaudencio Manny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save El ABUELO FC from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute of the game Alfredo Joachim made a throw-in which Isidoro Azevedo played forward. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Machado was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Emilio Machado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaudencio Manny. Gaudencio Manny was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Emilio Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. Fu Ting Nan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaudencio Manny having to make a save. The supporters of Werneck FC - DMZ booed when El ABUELO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Joachim didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute Isidoro Columbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Donciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Werneck FC - DMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
