Spectators: 7703 (Terracing: 5779, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gedeon Káposztás made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Andrade came free, but Andréas Linquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Filip Mika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Ravelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andréas Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Wilson Andrade took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andréas Linquist. Andréas Linquist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Thomas Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gedeon Káposztás in the 22nd minute of play. GLADIADORES's Thomas Ravelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Mika in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Grêmio Papão de WC got a corner. GLADIADORES's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edson Faria ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thomas Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gedeon Káposztás in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by GLADIADORES's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edson Faria was slow to take the kick. During this time Grêmio Papão de WC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Grêmio Papão de WC's Edson Faria to fire away a dangerous shot which Thomas Ravelli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Wilson Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 50th match minute, Grêmio Papão de WC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Paulo Marquez to maneuver through the defense. In the 51st minute, Zygmunt Nakoneczny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andréas Linquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Stein in the 52nd minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Johannes Stein notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Grêmio Papão de WC's Andréas Linquist. Andréas Linquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of GLADIADORES booed when Grêmio Papão de WC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laércio Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio Papão de WC's zone, Wilson Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andréas Linquist came out of the goal and Wilson Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grêmio Papão de WC made a substitution. Rodrigo Muniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Thomas Ravelli made a huge save. Andréas Linquist came out of the goal and Anacleto Rozarius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Anacleto Rozarius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andréas Linquist was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Grêmio Papão de WC's Andréas Linquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Rozarius in the 85th minute of play. In the 87thth minute of the game Anacleto Rozarius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio Papão de WC's Andréas Linquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was a well-played corner which Paşa Safih managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Andréas Linquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Rozarius in the 93rd minute of play. GLADIADORES were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Grêmio Papão de WC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Johannes Stein took the corner. In the 96th match minute, GLADIADORES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Rozarius to maneuver through the defense. GLADIADORES's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
