Spectators: 7749 (Terracing: 5813, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) Clube do Remo MZ's Dagoberto Sandoval started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, The Cavern Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tiaguinho Mandrak came free, but Vladimir Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Clube do Remo MZ's corner Tiaguinho Mandrak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vladimir Prestes quite easily take care of the ball. Edwin Henriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Vladimir Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, Alberigo Prosperi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alirio Oyuela. Alberigo Prosperi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didi Mello in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the The Cavern Club defense, Didi Mello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimir Prestes. The The Cavern Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimir Prestes should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Alberigo Prosperi took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Alirio Oyuela to make any attempt to save it. Clube do Remo MZ's Alirio Oyuela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Clube do Remo MZ from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Sandoval in the 32nd minute of play forced The Cavern Club's goalkeeper Vladimir Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Bruno Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute Didi Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Didi Mello in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimir Prestes saved The Cavern Club from getting behind. In the 37th minute Clube do Remo MZ were awarded a corner. Tiaguinho Mandrak went to the cornerflag to take it. Vladimir Prestes came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Clube do Remo MZ's Kang Cheng Ao. But to his dismay, Kang Cheng Ao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Alirio Oyuela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberigo Prosperi went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberigo Prosperi to strike the kick off in the second half. Vladimir Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Sandoval in the 57th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Alberigo Prosperi notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Clube do Remo MZ's Alirio Oyuela. Alirio Oyuela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clube do Remo MZ's Virgill Van Dijk was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 70th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Igor Baudelio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alirio Oyuela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, The Cavern Club's Jairo Montes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alirio Oyuela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Virgill Van Dijk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Prestes having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Montes in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alirio Oyuela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes got control of the ball when Virgill Van Dijk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vladimir Prestes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiaguinho Mandrak in the 86th minute. Tobias Otsoa made a great header on The Cavern Club's corner, it was just that Clube do Remo MZ's Alirio Oyuela managed to reach the ball for a save. Clube do Remo MZ were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing The Cavern Club to leave the ground with a draw.
