The audience was convinced that Miguel Almiron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Epifanio Iratzeder was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Valter Siöman could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Baltasar Sancho however easily saved by the left post. 20 minutes into the match, Sacro Balompié's goalkeeper Baltasar Sancho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Noel Abraham. Joakim Brandin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Baltasar Sancho firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Joakim Brandin could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Baltasar Sancho however easily saved by the left post. Miguel Almiron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Epifanio Iratzeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Peto in the 29th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Baltasar Sancho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Peto in the 34th minute of play forced Artetas artilleri's goalkeeper Epifanio Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Brandin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Abraham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Baltasar Sancho made a huge save. Israel Berenguer hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 51st minute, Joakim Brandin made a precise shot to the right of Baltasar Sancho. Sacro Balompié's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Baltasar Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Brandin in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Almiron in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Iratzeder saved Artetas artilleri from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apolo Peto got free with Epifanio Iratzeder in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Artetas artilleri's Epifanio Iratzeder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Artetas artilleri from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Gaueko in the 64th minute of play forced Artetas artilleri's goalkeeper Epifanio Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Jeremias Gaueko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sacro Balompié's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Gaueko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Iratzeder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sacro Balompié's Gervasio Lidon was substituted for Apolo Peto. 70 minutes into the game, Victorio Jax cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Epifanio Iratzeder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Epifanio Iratzeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Almiron in the 78th minute of the match. After 80 minutes Artetas artilleri's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Almiron who took care of the corner kick. With his leg Epifanio Iratzeder managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Sacro Balompié's Miguel Almiron fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Epifanio Iratzeder was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Hermengildo Mazuste capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hermengildo Mazuste really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. After 92 minutes of play, Sacro Balompié's Aquiles Bieito made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Epifanio Iratzeder was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Artetas artilleri manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Sacro Balompié to win.
