An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberigo Prosperi in the 15th minute of play forced OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Romulo Viator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Su Shu Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Viator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save The Cavern Club from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the game, Kaká Carneiro lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Vladimir Prestes. After some careless play in the OTTO FC - FSCMZ defense, Jairo Montes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Viator. The OTTO FC - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Viator should have stopped the shot. When The Cavern Club's Alberigo Prosperi in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Romulo Viator came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by The Cavern Club's Alberigo Prosperi. But to his dismay, Alberigo Prosperi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Cavern Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lenílson Nascimento was slow to take the kick. During this time OTTO FC - FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberigo Prosperi was the one to do the kick off. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Romulo Viator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Prosperi in the 57th minute of play. Romulo Viator made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Jairo Montes sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, Alberigo Prosperi notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Romulo Viator. Romulo Viator was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd minute Su Shu Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimir Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Su Shu Zhen in the 64th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Su Shu Zhen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimir Prestes was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberigo Prosperi in the 69th minute of play forced OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Romulo Viator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
