Rene Aires was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Panpili got free with Walmir Catarinense in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clodoveo Christobal in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Carlos Alvarez saved Marlin FC from getting behind. When Feliciano Iratxo came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Loco De Remate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Iratxo couldn't finish the play. Juan Carlos Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baškim Sumulikovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Loco De Remate had won after a very even match.
