In the 10thth minute of the game Ximenes Oñatibia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sociedad Anónima's Antonio Sorriva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ximenes Oñatibia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Sorriva was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Pantelis Kotoulas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Antonio Sorriva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Real Salsa F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Velasco Rollan came free, but Greger Fribäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Sengrat Nazario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greger Fribäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Real Salsa F.C.'s Antonio Sorriva threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Batuhan De Bruyne, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Ximenes Oñatibia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Osman Ali Okutan sped through Sociedad Anónima's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antonio Sorriva. Greger Fribäck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Velasco Rollan's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Velasco Rollan notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Real Salsa F.C.'s Greger Fribäck. Greger Fribäck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velasco Rollan in the 40th minute of play forced Real Salsa F.C.'s goalkeeper Greger Fribäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greger Fribäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Velasco Rollan in the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Velasco Rollan made the kick off in the second half. Antonio Sorriva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ximenes Oñatibia in the 54th minute of play. Ximenes Oñatibia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Sorriva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, Real Salsa F.C.'s Greger Fribäck got control of the ball when Velasco Rollan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 64 played minutes Real Salsa F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Abayhan Miran. Real Salsa F.C.'s Davut Akadlı was substituted for Ferdinho Wolf. Abayhan Miran hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Antonio Sorriva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ximenes Oñatibia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sociedad Anónima's Cordaryal Valdecañas was substituted for Ramos Trasmiera. Real Salsa F.C.'s Natalio Txeru was substituted for Pantelis Kotoulas. In the 91st minute of the game Davut Akadlı made a throw-in which Abidin Buminhan played forward. 94 minutes into the game, Velasco Rollan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Greger Fribäck. Velasco Rollan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
