Gaétan Bouchard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Rigoberto Bihar made a huge save. 10 minutes into the match, River Plate ® 9-12's Muhammet Ökten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joe Camp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, River Plate ® 9-12's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Hamard came free, but Rigoberto Bihar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Cats and dogs's corner Nicolas Hamard fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rigoberto Bihar quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muhammet Ökten in the 15th minute of play forced Cats and dogs's goalkeeper Joe Camp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute River Plate ® 9-12 were awarded a corner. Luca Langoni went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Fang Zhan Ao almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cats and dogs's Joe Camp did a great save. River Plate ® 9-12's Rigoberto Bihar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Boch in the 20th minute of play. Joe Camp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Silvanito in the 21st minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, River Plate ® 9-12's Placido Silvanito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joe Camp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gaétan Bouchard came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rigoberto Bihar could save by the left post. Joe Camp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Silvanito in the 30th minute of the match. Rigoberto Bihar made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Gaétan Bouchard sent off a good shot on target. When Faustino Bartuelo fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Plate ® 9-12's protests and gave Faustino Bartuelo a yellow card for diving instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 85 played minutes Cats and dogs got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Hamard. Cats and dogs's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
