The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Romero got free with Eleazar Betzanos in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute, Mathias Ortiz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eleazar Betzanos. The goal made the score 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
