Aprígio Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Sergipano in the 12th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, IGUIPORÃ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Lluis came free, but Carlos Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernard Motowski got free with Carlos Carioca in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Lluis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute of the match CheR FC got a corner. IGUIPORÃ FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victor Clifford ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led CheR FC's Victor Clifford to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Carioca despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Carlos Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Lluis, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Gustavo Sergipano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Lluis in the 30th minute of the match. After 32 played minutes CheR FC got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Frasquito. After a rather tough play, IGUIPORÃ FC's Albert Sparnaaij got a free kick in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in IGUIPORÃ FC's zone, Marcos Lluis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Carioca came out of the goal and Marcos Lluis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CheR FC's Aprígio Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Sergipano in the 45th minute of play. Aprígio Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Sergipano's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

CheR FC's Dede Akmal was substituted for Bernard Motowski. The wind increased when Gustavo Sergipano made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Su Jun Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Benny Impens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adriano Alagoano during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adriano Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Lluis in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Carioca saved IGUIPORÃ FC from getting behind. After 58 minutes, Gustavo Sergipano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IGUIPORÃ FC and the CheR FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. IGUIPORÃ FC's Carlos Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Lluis in the 64th minute of play. Lei Kun kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Aprígio Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Eric Hjortsberg sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by CheR FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Danél Iriart was slow to take the kick. During this time IGUIPORÃ FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 78th minute Eric Hjortsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aprígio Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Aprígio Montenegro throw himself and got hold of the ball when Eric Hjortsberg in the 79thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 81st minute, Adriano Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of CheR FC booed when IGUIPORÃ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. IGUIPORÃ FC were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after CheR FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Danél Iriart took the corner. After taking down the ball on IGUIPORÃ FC's corner Danél Iriart fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aprígio Montenegro quite easily take care of the ball.
