Lajos Vadász made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Otterlei in the 47th minute of play. The La Cosa Nostra fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when La Cosa Nostra's Hans Otterlei looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half La Cosa Nostra were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The throw-in from Diego Armando in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La Cosa Nostra's Sergio Martxel. After a rather tough play, La Cosa Nostra's Sergio Martxel got a free kick in the 61st minute. North Hill United made a substitution. Carlos Sevenants replaced Krzysztof Pawlak. The supporters of North Hill United booed when La Cosa Nostra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Martxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marciano Bizen in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lajos Vadász saved North Hill United from getting behind. The North Hill United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. La Cosa Nostra were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
