Claudinho Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Monteiro in the 6th minute of the match. Claudinho Taffarel came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Vascogoianiense FC's Gilmar Monteiro. But to his dismay, Gilmar Monteiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Monteiro came free, but Claudinho Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's Nelsinho Leite threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Costin Cârneci, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vascogoianiense FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while NANANANA LIIIDEER FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
