Benedicto Bihar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nelsinho Leite having to make a save. Batıkan Muhsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pirani in the 43rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's zone, João Pirani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batıkan Muhsin came out of the goal and João Pirani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Falcão de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, Vascogoianiense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorian Quirino to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Bernardo Sasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
