In the 3rd minute, Kacper Charamut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kajetan Dec was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Grasshoppers Klucze were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Zawisza Bydgoszcz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hieronim Skrzypek took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalie and right to Hugon Imbor. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Kajetan Dec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kacper Charamut in the 9th minute of the match. Ömer Halisdemirs short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Tanek Bielejewski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Ömer Halisdemir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's supporters rose to their feet, but Ömer Halisdemir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tanek Bielejewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeusz Raschke came free, but Kajetan Dec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanek Bielejewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömer Halisdemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Zawisza Bydgoszcz's corner Mack Oreilly fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tanek Bielejewski quite easily take care of the ball. Tanek Bielejewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Halisdemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Sebastian Klawke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Klawke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tanek Bielejewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Kajetan Dec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeusz Raschke in the 54th minute of play. Igor Praski kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Grasshoppers Klucze booed when Zawisza Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mack Oreilly didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kacper Charamut struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Kajetan Dec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grasshoppers Klucze. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Kajetan Dec successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sebastian Klawke hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Grasshoppers Klucze made a substitution. Damazy Franzik replaced Kacper Charamut. In the 78th minute, Sebastian Klawke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeusz Raschke in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kajetan Dec saved Zawisza Bydgoszcz from getting behind. Grasshoppers Klucze's Tanek Bielejewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömer Halisdemir in the 81st minute of play. Damazy Franzik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Dec having to interfere. Kajetan Dec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeusz Raschke in the 87th minute of play. Kajetan Dec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Raschke in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Franzik in the 89th minute of play forced Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Kajetan Dec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanek Bielejewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Klawke in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Zawisza Bydgoszcz could leave the field as winners, despite Grasshoppers Klucze having more of the ball for most of the match.
