San Martin de Tucuman's Cecilio Jax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Tinoco in the 3rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Tinoco in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cecilio Jax prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Jeremias Tinoco put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cecilio Jax. Léo Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Munio, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Léo Leão came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by San Martin de Tucuman's Marcial Munio. But to his dismay, Marcial Munio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Marcial Munio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Léo Leão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Misericordia EC's Léo Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Munio in the 16th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Marcial Munio made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Misericordia EC's Léo Leão tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Léo Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Munio in the 20th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Zico Maravilha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Cecilio Jax was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cecilio Jax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Maravilha in the 36th minute of the match. Misericordia EC's Léo Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Misericordia EC from getting a goal against them. San Martin de Tucuman's Cecilio Jax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Amaral in the 41st minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeremias Tinoco to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, San Martin de Tucuman's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Tinoco came free, but Cecilio Jax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Munio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo Leão having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Marcial Munio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Léo Leão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After taking down the ball on San Martin de Tucuman's corner Anastasio Amesti fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Léo Leão quite easily take care of the ball. Pedro Luís Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Jax having to interfere. After some careless play in the Misericordia EC defense, Anastasio Amesti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Léo Leão. The Misericordia EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Léo Leão should have stopped the shot. San Martin de Tucuman's Pipis Vattimos was substituted for Luciano Selmo. When Marcial Munio came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the San Martin de Tucuman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Munio couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd match minute, Misericordia EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidiu Tomoioagă to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Hector Gizon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Léo Leão was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. San Martin de Tucuman's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
