Spectators: 7698 (Terracing: 5775, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulino Lamberto started the match with the kick off. FC Maci -MM-'s Dieter Nisipeanu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cecilio Urbez in the 3 minute of the game. A collision led to FC Maci -MM- getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Dieter Nisipeanu hit a great ball. With a little luck, FC Maci -MM-'s Tristan Falco got control of the ball when Paulino Lamberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, Sami Zübeyr ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cecilio Jax was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cecilio Jax came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr. But to his dismay, Sami Zübeyr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sami Zübeyr in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cecilio Jax prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Maci -MM-'s Tristan Falco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Lamberto in the 23rd minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match FC Maci -MM- got a corner. San Martin de Tucuman's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rudolf Dombi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cecilio Jax didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sami Zübeyr went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. San Martin de Tucuman's Cecilio Jax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 35th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Paulino Lamberto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tristan Falco. Paulino Lamberto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. A collision led to San Martin de Tucuman getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Luciano Selmo hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sami Zübeyr made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Sami Zübeyr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Jax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute Ulises Dominguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Falco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Sami Zübeyr managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Maci -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sami Zübeyr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cecilio Jax breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cecilio Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sami Zübeyr, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Dominguez came free, but Tristan Falco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sami Zübeyr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Jax having to interfere. Cecilio Jax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sami Zübeyr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Dominguez in the 67th minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Tristan Falco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cecilio Jax made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 69th minute. Tristan Falco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Dominguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 81st minute of play forced San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Cecilio Jax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieter Nisipeanu to maneuver through the defense. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Gelu Bâru replaced Felix Lucaci. FC Maci -MM-'s Octavian Gaciu was substituted for Vlad Mavrogheni. After a rather tough play, FC Maci -MM-'s Dieter Nisipeanu got a free kick in the 84th minute. The San Martin de Tucuman fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when San Martin de Tucuman's Marcial Munio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
