Club Atletico Chusca's Richie Craig quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Fluminense DF's Carlisle Schultz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Moreira in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Serafin Eate had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingemar Kilman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Moreira in the 30th minute of play forced Fluminense DF's goalkeeper Carlisle Schultz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prudencio Goiz scored 1-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafin Eate, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Chusca's Paulino Platon got a free kick in the 34th minute. Fluminense DF's Carlisle Schultz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Moreira in the 39th minute of play. The Club Atletico Chusca fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Club Atletico Chusca's Lauro Moreira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 43rd match minute, Club Atletico Chusca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richie Craig to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute of the match Osvaldo Furlan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serafin Eate skillfully saved the ball. The Fluminense DF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atletico Chusca were winning 1-5.

Club Atletico Chusca's Sad Boy was substituted for Leonardo Gumaro. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lauro Moreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lauro Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Kilman came free, but Serafin Eate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atletico Chusca's Serafin Eate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Kilman in the 56th minute of play. Club Atletico Chusca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Richie Craig in the 59th minute. Serafin Eate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio Travassos in the 61st minute of the match. Lauro Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. But to his dismay, Prudencio Goiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. When Lauro Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Club Atletico Chusca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauro Moreira couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the game, one of Fluminense DF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lauro Moreira shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Atletico Chusca had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
