Karol Pierz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wit Dytrych, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the game, SC Otten's Wit Dytrych nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karol Pierz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. SC Otten's Cícero Proença proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save SC Otten from getting a goal against them. When Fotis Mantzouranas came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the SC Otten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fotis Mantzouranas couldn't finish the play. The SC Otten players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
