Ernest Oprescu struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Ritchie Stansfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV. In the 7th minute, Victor Lucila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ernest Oprescu hit a great ball. Dinu Oardă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blažej Blazejowski in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Ernest Oprescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ritchie Stansfield was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Victor Lucila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dinu Oardă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blažej Blazejowski in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blažej Blazejowski got free with Dinu Oardă in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute, Real Ayuntamiento CF's Damazy Tomaszewski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Dinu Oardă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Cucao in the 23rd minute. Pedro Cucao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Dinu Oardă made a huge save. 26 minutes into the match, Real Ayuntamiento CF's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Lucila came free, but Ritchie Stansfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Ernest Oprescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie Stansfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ritchie Stansfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Oprescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dinu Oardă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd match minute, Real Ayuntamiento CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Cucao to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Real Ayuntamiento CF's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Lucila came free, but Ritchie Stansfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Damazy Tomaszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Oardă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV defense, Damazy Tomaszewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dinu Oardă. The MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dinu Oardă should have stopped the shot. Blažej Blazejowski scored 3-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dinu Oardă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Ayuntamiento CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ernest Oprescu was slow to take the kick. During this time MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Victor Lucila got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ritchie Stansfield quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 46th minute Liviu Frumușanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie Stansfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 3-3 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blažej Blazejowski was the one to do the kick off. Dinu Oardă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blažej Blazejowski went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. 62 minutes into the match, Real Ayuntamiento CF's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Oprescu came free, but Ritchie Stansfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Blažej Blazejowski notched a goal, 6-3, to the right of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dinu Oardă. Dinu Oardă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Şehzade Mustafa in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Mihăiţă Moisil. Liviu Frumușanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dinu Oardă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blažej Blazejowski in the 70th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Cucao in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dinu Oardă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dinu Oardă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Tomaszewski in the 75th minute of play. Dinu Oardă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blažej Blazejowski in the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Damazy Tomaszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Oardă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinu Oardă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blažej Blazejowski in the 85th minute of the match. Real Ayuntamiento CF made a substitution. Faustino Frichoso replaced Blažej Blazejowski. The throw-in from Şehzade Mustafa in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Florin Ciorobîtcă. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
