The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. La Candela FC's Ruben Sánchez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mădălin Bărbuceanu, made in the 4th minute of the game. After 8 minutes, Nahuel Molina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Candela FC and the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Candela FC! When the match had been going on for 10 minutes, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Victor Lucila got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ruben Sánchez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Oprescu in the 16th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Ruben Sánchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruben Sánchez made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Victor Lucila sent off a good shot on target. Ruben Sánchez was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Victor Lucila capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victor Lucila really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Dinu Oardă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolás Valentini in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Frumușanu came free, but Ruben Sánchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Candela FC's Ruben Sánchez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save La Candela FC from getting a goal against them. Dinu Oardă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolás Valentini in the 34th minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Mihăiţă Moisil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Candela FC's Ruben Sánchez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute of the match La Candela FC got a corner. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastián Battaglia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sorin Gurlui made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Candela FC's Claudio Marangoni. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Frumușanu in the 44th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Ruben Sánchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Ernest Oprescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Sánchez. La Candela FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernest Oprescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rubén-Darío Feldmann made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the game Sorin Gurlui made a throw-in which Ernest Oprescu played forward. Dinu Oardă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolás Valentini in the 58th minute of play. Dinu Oardă made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Nicolás Valentini sent off a good shot on target. Valentin Barco was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the game, one of La Candela FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 87 minutes of play, La Candela FC's Nicolás Valentini made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dinu Oardă was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to La Candela FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Miguel Nicolau hit a great ball. In the 97th minute of the match Ernest Oprescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruben Sánchez skillfully saved the ball. When the referee ended the match the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
