With an all-out effort, Madison's Arnulfo Kinsen threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benito Naldo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arnulfo Kinsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benito Naldo went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 20 minutes, Benito Naldo made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Laurita FC's Arnulfo Kinsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Madison's Ernesto Emmanuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Alberto Kempes in the 23rd minute of play. Ernesto Emmanuel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardino Ofelio's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Mario Alberto Kempes notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Madison's Ernesto Emmanuel. Ernesto Emmanuel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Laurita FC's Arnulfo Kinsen got control of the ball when Ás Ronaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
