Madison were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Kobra TEAM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mete Gol took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kobra TEAM's goalie and right to Alejo Marcones. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kobra TEAM's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Madison's supporters rose to their feet, but Mete Gol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. King Junior breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Madison's goal looked a bit too open when Ionică Lucescu came free, but Ernesto Emmanuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Madison's Ernesto Emmanuel got control of the ball when Liviu Cristocea tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionică Lucescu in the 94th minute of play forced Madison's goalkeeper Ernesto Emmanuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
