With an all-out effort, FC Bal op het Dak's Ernesto Emmanuel threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Martijn August, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ernesto Emmanuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn August in the 27th minute of the match. Mete Gol took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harvey Davies. Harvey Davies dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After some careless play in the Madison defense, Dan Kjellman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Emmanuel. The Madison fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Emmanuel should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Madison's goalkeeper Ernesto Emmanuel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Kjellman. In the 44th minute of the match FC Bal op het Dak got a corner. Madison's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marick Brunt ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Marick Brunt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ernesto Emmanuel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 47 minutes, Martijn August managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bal op het Dak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martijn August was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Bal op het Dak's Joop Meder was substituted for Shaq Francis.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benito Naldo to make the kick off. Harvey Davies came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Madison's Mete Gol. But to his dismay, Mete Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 57 minutes into the game, Iwan Valentijn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Ernesto Emmanuel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ernesto Emmanuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Mendes in the 63rd minute of play. FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Eddy Neijsen replaced Válbson Almeida. FC Bal op het Dak were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Madison's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marick Brunt took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Artur Mendes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 72nd minute Dan Kjellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Emmanuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Bal op het Dak were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Madison's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marick Brunt took the corner. The corner ended in Marick Brunt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Madison's Ernesto Emmanuel did a great save. Ernesto Emmanuel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artur Mendes went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Harvey Davies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ás Ronaldo in the 78th minute of play. Henri Ladva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Harvey Davies made a huge save. In the 84th minute Dan Kjellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Emmanuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute Ás Ronaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Davies saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's goal looked a bit too open when Ás Ronaldo came free, but Harvey Davies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Iwan Valentijn managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bal op het Dak's supporters rose to their feet, but Iwan Valentijn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Emmanuel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute, Iwan Valentijn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harvey Davies made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mete Gol in the 95th minute.
