Barrie Kerridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Fanuco in the 9th minute of the match. Zhuo Xuan Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Bolas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zhuo Xuan Yu came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Sliema Dragons FC's Leszek Cupial. But to his dismay, Leszek Cupial quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Sliema Dragons FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baran Erozan in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute of the match, Leszek Cupial got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zhuo Xuan Yu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 20 minutes into the match, Cecilio Fanuco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barrie Kerridge. Sliema Dragons FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cecilio Fanuco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Bolas in the 22nd minute of play forced Juliszew SSA's goalkeeper Zhuo Xuan Yu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Xiao Xu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cecilio Fanuco in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barrie Kerridge saved Sliema Dragons FC from getting behind. 30 minutes into the game, Wilhelm Salamonsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juliszew SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sliema Dragons FC the free kick. In the 30th minute, Wilhelm Salamonsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leszek Cupial in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zhuo Xuan Yu saved Juliszew SSA from getting behind. In the 33rd match minute, Sliema Dragons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gábor Illés to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Juliszew SSA's Zhuo Xuan Yu got control of the ball when Ulises Ixidor tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Sliema Dragons FC's Zhuo Xuan Yu threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kim Bolas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cecilio Fanuco made a kick off. Zhuo Xuan Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baran Erozan, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Zhuo Xuan Yu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leszek Cupial went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 59 minutes of play, Sliema Dragons FC's Kim Bolas made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zhuo Xuan Yu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juliszew SSA made a substitution. Lucjan Szkarpiak replaced Wilhelm Salamonsen. After 69 minutes, Lucjan Szkarpiak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juliszew SSA and the Sliema Dragons FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Juliszew SSA getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lucjan Szkarpiak hit a great ball. Sliema Dragons FC's Dejan Cassar was substituted for Kim Bolas. Juliszew SSA made a substitution. Oto Mur replaced Cecilio Fanuco. Lucjan Szkarpiak hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Juliszew SSA's Zhuo Xuan Yu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dejan Cassar in the 72nd minute of play. Zhuo Xuan Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baran Erozan, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Dejan Cassar hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Philip Lovecraft dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Barrie Kerridge, 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oto Mur got free with Barrie Kerridge in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sliema Dragons FC's Barrie Kerridge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oto Mur in the 83rd minute of play. Zhuo Xuan Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leszek Cupial, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Juliszew SSA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Baran Erozan was slow to take the kick. During this time Sliema Dragons FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Baran Erozan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Juliszew SSA's Zhuo Xuan Yu did a great save. 92 minutes into the game, Oto Mur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Barrie Kerridge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
