The Valar's Emmanuel Canturri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save The Valar from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Rigg in the 6th minute of play forced Academia FC's goalkeeper Walery Balkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 minutes Academia FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Codruț Uncheşu who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Manwë Vala almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Academia FC's Walery Balkiewicz did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manwë Vala in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walery Balkiewicz saved Academia FC from getting behind. The Valar's Emmanuel Canturri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmo Jaanovits in the 13th minute of play. Simon Esquipula got a throw-in 17 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Elmo Jaanovits. William Rigg took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walery Balkiewicz. Walery Balkiewicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Emmanuel Canturri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elmo Jaanovits, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 25th minute The Valar were awarded a corner. Codruț Uncheşu went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Ulmo Vala heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Elmo Jaanovits blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emmanuel Canturri having to make a save. Walery Balkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Rigg in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Elmo Jaanovits shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Canturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emmanuel Canturri made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Elmo Jaanovits sent off a good shot on target. The Academia FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Valar were winning 0-1.

Academia FC's Tancredo Hondaro was substituted for Elmo Jaanovits. Academia FC's 刘霆鹏 was substituted for Alvaro Iraitz. Academia FC's Giovani Lo Celso was substituted for Asko Kuul. The wind increased when Tancredo Hondaro made the kick off in the second half. Tancredo Hondaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emmanuel Canturri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute Tancredo Hondaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Canturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Academia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manwë Vala came free, but Walery Balkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Benjamin Orti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emmanuel Canturri. The Valar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Orti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Walery Balkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Rigg in the 75th minute of play. In the 88th minute, The Valar's William Rigg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walery Balkiewicz. Walery Balkiewicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Giovani Lo Celso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmanuel Canturri having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Academia FC's Fabio Nabar got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Cristian Ozon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Valar's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
