Abdulkadir Eraslan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute, Ronaldo Fenomeno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karlheinz Ludecke. The goal made the score 3-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.
