The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Niebiański&Team booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Höijer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Tipinski came free, but Jens-Åke Källberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Niebiański&Team's goalkeeper Rüştü Rencber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Tipinski in the 27th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rüştü Rencber was a little too slow when Torgny Landin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-1. A sloppy throw-in by Vilhelm Holm in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Niebiański&Team's Walery Majorski. Rickard Löfgren kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Niebiański&Team made a substitution. Wieslaw Munko replaced Walery Majorski. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Jerzy Gorgoń managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niebiański&Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerzy Gorgoń was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Åke Källberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torgny Landin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jerzy Gorgoń made in the 55th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Antoni Tipinski immediately put the ball in play. In the 58th match minute, Niebiański&Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wieslaw Munko to maneuver through the defense. Niebiański&Team's Rüştü Rencber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Höijer in the 60th minute of play. Rüştü Rencber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Landin, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Niebiański&Team's Rüştü Rencber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özkan Kayaer in the 65th minute of play. The corner led Boca Juniors's Vilhelm Holm to fire away a dangerous shot which Rüştü Rencber despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Boca Juniors's Jiang Xuan Nan was substituted for Niklas Kjellberg. Boca Juniors's Julian Beturian was substituted for Jan Höijer. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vilhelm Holm made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Niebiański&Team's Wieslaw Munko. Jens-Åke Källberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Tipinski in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Beturian in the 82nd minute of play forced Niebiański&Team's goalkeeper Rüştü Rencber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rüştü Rencber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Landin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Beturian in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rüştü Rencber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rüştü Rencber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Landin in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Holm to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Beturian in the 98th minute of play forced Niebiański&Team's goalkeeper Rüştü Rencber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
