Spectators: 8150 (Terracing: 6114, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 162) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Beturian started the match with the kick off. Miau Stars's Abdulkadir Eraslan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Miau Stars from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Fenomeno came free, but Jens-Åke Källberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Gerd Della dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abdulkadir Eraslan, 2-0. In the 16th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jiang Xuan Nan to maneuver through the defense. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens-Åke Källberg saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. Boca Juniors's Niklas Kjellberg got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julian Beturian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdulkadir Eraslan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Abdulkadir Eraslan came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Gerd Della. But to his dismay, Gerd Della quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Julian Beturian hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The supporters of Miau Stars booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Blom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmílson Arantes struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jens-Åke Källberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miau Stars. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Boca Juniors made a substitution. Torgny Landin replaced Gerd Della. A sloppy throw-in by Rickard Löfgren in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Miau Stars's Di Yue. Doriva Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdulkadir Eraslan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Torgny Landin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Landin came free, but Abdulkadir Eraslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldo Fenomeno. After a defensive mix-up in Miau Stars's zone, Torgny Landin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdulkadir Eraslan came out of the goal and Torgny Landin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miau Stars made a substitution. Kenneth Knutsson replaced Marco Veremundo. Miau Stars's Olavo Mota was substituted for Edmílson Arantes. In the 79th minute Torgny Landin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulkadir Eraslan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boca Juniors's Gustav Stenkvist quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Di Yue, made in the 93rd minute of the game. The supporters of Miau Stars booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiang Xuan Nan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boca Juniors's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
