In the 13th minute Nae Strungă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Lage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Lage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Stancu in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Lino Quexal threw the ball into play from the sideline. Minuim SS's Luisão Corrêa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a little luck, Muget's Isac Gligor got control of the ball when Mikail Yerhum tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Minuim SS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Muget:s goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Minuim SS booed when Muget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Stancu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
