Yuri Portugal started the match with the kick off. Radamel Hendrickx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Vázquez in the 5th minute of the match. Radamel Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Vázquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Fauna Utd's Radamel Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Vázquez in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Vázquez in the 12th minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Porfiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Unai Sócrates. After some careless play in the Fauna Utd defense, Luis Vázquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radamel Hendrickx. The Fauna Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radamel Hendrickx should have stopped the shot. After 25 minutes Fauna Utd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Bittor who took care of the corner kick. Gabriel Porfiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieterjan Anteunis in the 28th minute of the match. Octav Zdraşcu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Yuri Portugal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gabriel Porfiro, 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, Luis Vázquez notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Fauna Utd's Radamel Hendrickx. Radamel Hendrickx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute Luis Vázquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radamel Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Luis Vázquez made the kick off in the second half. Fauna Utd's Radamel Hendrickx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Fauna Utd from getting a goal against them. Gabriel Porfiro came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fauna Utd's Yuri Portugal. But to his dismay, Yuri Portugal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Radamel Hendrickx was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luis Vázquez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 58 minute of play. Luganeros AFC made a substitution. Rey Ronaldo replaced Luis Vázquez. Gabriel Porfiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Unai Sócrates in the 63rd minute of the match. Gabriel Porfiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Unai Sócrates's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Eliseo Bittor heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Gabriel Porfiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Unai Sócrates in the 70th minute of the match. With a little luck, Fauna Utd's Radamel Hendrickx got control of the ball when Rey Ronaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unai Sócrates in the 78th minute of play. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fauna Utd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yu Quan Di was slow to take the kick. During this time Luganeros AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Luganeros AFC's Rene Sayvion to fire away a dangerous shot which Radamel Hendrickx despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gabriel Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Unai Sócrates in the 87th minute of play. After 91 played minutes, Luganeros AFC's Yu Quan Di shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Luganeros AFC reached it. A hard and well directed shot from Yu Quan Di led 91 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Fauna Utd's Radamel Hendrickx became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-4. Rey Ronaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Radamel Hendrickx made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Luganeros AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
