With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronnie Gregoire prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Morera in the 28th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Patricio Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Ludomir Biraga in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Bünyamin Başel. Ronnie Gregoire stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dale Dolar's shot from short distance in the 89th minute.
