In the 17th minute VfL Bad Nenndorf were awarded a corner. Zsolt Székely went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the Lunar Park defense, Boubacar Otabo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cedric Van Langhendoncx. The Lunar Park fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cedric Van Langhendoncx should have stopped the shot. If Róbert Štriker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Lunar Park's Fabien Canu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lucrețiu Brătescu. Lucrețiu Brătescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Themis Papadimoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedric Van Langhendoncx having to interfere. Lucrețiu Brătescu made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Fabien Canu sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute, Antoni Szymanowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Wang Xiao Hong got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Themis Papadimoulis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Themis Papadimoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cedric Van Langhendoncx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lunar Park's Cedric Van Langhendoncx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Lunar Park from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zsolt Székely in the 59th minute of play forced Lunar Park's goalkeeper Cedric Van Langhendoncx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Yazid Larnicol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Róbert Štriker in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cedric Van Langhendoncx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 69 played minutes Lunar Park got a freekick which was hit by Fabien Canu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zsolt Székely in the 77th minute of play forced Lunar Park's goalkeeper Cedric Van Langhendoncx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes Lunar Park's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zsolt Székely who took care of the corner kick. 80 minutes into the match, Lunar Park's Fabien Canu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucrețiu Brătescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Róbert Štriker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Cedric Van Langhendoncx made a huge save. Themis Papadimoulis took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cedric Van Langhendoncx. Cedric Van Langhendoncx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Despite being the better team, VfL Bad Nenndorf failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
