Cedric Van Langhendoncx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodriguinho Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save ITAFUT 4EVER from getting a goal against them. The supporters of ITAFUT 4EVER booed when Lunar Park was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabien Canu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Barycz in the 41st minute of play forced Lunar Park's goalkeeper Cedric Van Langhendoncx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryszard Barycz in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cedric Van Langhendoncx saved Lunar Park from getting behind. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabien Canu was the one to do the kick off. Cedric Van Langhendoncx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Barycz in the 60th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Lunar Park defense, Ryszard Barycz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cedric Van Langhendoncx. The Lunar Park fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cedric Van Langhendoncx should have stopped the shot. Ryszard Barycz might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cedric Van Langhendoncx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ryszard Barycz ran back to his position shaking his head. Cedric Van Langhendoncx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Barycz, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. ITAFUT 4EVER made a substitution. Jardel Baggio replaced Ryszard Barycz. ITAFUT 4EVER were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Lunar Park's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jean-Paul Møffelmand took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Rodriguinho Linhares heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Lunar Park's Cedric Van Langhendoncx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Linhares in the 78th minute of play. Carlos Taillade kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Jardel Baggio had several of the Lunar Park's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Cedric Van Langhendoncx as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 89thth minute of the game Fabien Canu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Jardel Baggio came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the ITAFUT 4EVER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jardel Baggio couldn't finish the play. ITAFUT 4EVER's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
