The audience was convinced that Laércio Penha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 陶翔平 was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 陶翔平 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laércio Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Laércio Penha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. 陶翔平 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laércio Penha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. In the 80th minute 于钢迅 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickaël Maris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 莫笑傲 made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Di Yang Lei. After a defensive mix-up in Nova Iguaçu MZFC's zone, 于钢迅 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mickaël Maris came out of the goal and 于钢迅 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Nova Iguaçu MZFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
