When Özgür Özbay came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the LOI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Özgür Özbay couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Sulo Montaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Aguilera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jyrki Sillanpää sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LOI's George Buturugã proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save LOI from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute, Sulo Montaña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higinio Aguilera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 34 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goal looked a bit too open when Özgür Özbay came free, but Higinio Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sulo Montaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Buturugã made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albino Brion in the 45th minute. Semail Ilıca charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Semail Ilıca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to LOI getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Semail Ilıca hit a great ball.

Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Feliciano Haritzeder got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Los Hijos de Doña Beija from getting a goal against them. Özgür Özbay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Higinio Aguilera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With an all-out effort, LOI's Higinio Aguilera threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sulo Montaña, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Higinio Aguilera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Özgür Özbay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higinio Aguilera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Higinio Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Indiana Jones hit a great ball. Higinio Aguilera was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Atak Koral.
