With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hilário Bento in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariusz Komornicki saved CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE from getting behind. After a rather tough play, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Radu Dascălu got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute of the match Vivant got a corner. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Youri Van Der Talen ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ştefan Iovan heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mariusz Komornicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larry Hallam, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's goal looked a bit too open when Larry Hallam came free, but Mariusz Komornicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldo Håland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Larry Hallam came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Vivant fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Larry Hallam couldn't finish the play. Hilário Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd minute Larry Hallam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Komornicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE got a freekick which was hit by Radu Dascălu. Larry Hallam scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariusz Komornicki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ronaldo Håland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gösta Andreasson took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised A.J. 关平. A.J. 关平 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 35th match minute, Vivant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Iovan to maneuver through the defense. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rodrigo Trigo in the 37th minute. After taking down the ball on CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's corner Rodrigo Trigo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and A.J. 关平 quite easily take care of the ball. Valeriu Sfetcu made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Acácio da Cunha. After a defensive mix-up in Vivant's zone, Ronaldo Håland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. A.J. 关平 came out of the goal and Ronaldo Håland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldo Håland was the one to do the kick off. Vivant's A.J. 关平 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Vivant from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute of the game Valeriu Sfetcu made a throw-in which Larry Hallam played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larry Hallam in the 60th minute of play forced CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Mariusz Komornicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 played minutes Vivant got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Cisneros. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Ronaldo Håland took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for A.J. 关平 to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilário Bento in the 72nd minute of play forced CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Mariusz Komornicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Larry Hallam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Komornicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Henrique Meireles was substituted for Gösta Andreasson. Vivant's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Rodrigo Trigo scored to the left of an out of position A.J. 关平, making the score, 3-3. A.J. 关平 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Meireles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd match minute, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Håland to maneuver through the defense. Hilário Bento kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
