The audience was convinced that Cristian Vieri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Gato was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Garcia to strike the kick off in the second half. SITIO CITY's Adolfo Pimenta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tavs Kirck, made in the 52nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Cutean in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Gato saved SITIO CITY from getting behind. Zé Gato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabríel Vassaras's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabríel Vassaras in the 62nd minute of play forced SITIO CITY's goalkeeper Zé Gato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Gato made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Comunardo Cianci sent off a good shot on target. A nice corner shot did that Rubim Jordão got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Henri-Patrick De Mare quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The SITIO CITY fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vc Brye were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
