David Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Brion, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Dolar Blue Ψ's Aitor Branca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Higinio Aguilera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Albino Brion got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Los Hijos de Doña Beija defense, Aitor Branca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higinio Aguilera. The Los Hijos de Doña Beija fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Aguilera should have stopped the shot. In the 34thth minute of the game Albino Brion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dolar Blue Ψ's David Abad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Higinio Aguilera made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Aitor Branca sent off a good shot on target. Chu Xiang Li received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Higinio Aguilera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Brion in the 45th minute of play forced Dolar Blue Ψ's goalkeeper David Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jyrki Sillanpää in the 46th minute of play.

Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Flavio Iraunkor was substituted for Jyrki Sillanpää. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Luís Fábio Rocha was substituted for Indiana Jones. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Demy Ottens was substituted for Albino Brion. The wind increased when Luís Fábio Rocha made the kick off in the second half. Higinio Aguilera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chu Xiang Li, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fábio Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute.
