Ciro Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai Havertz, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 42 played minutes Bozkurt got a freekick which was hit by Kai Havertz. When Nunez Tano fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bancruz F.C's protests and gave Nunez Tano a yellow card for diving instead. The Bancruz F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bozkurt were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kai Havertz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Kai Havertz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciro Nerio was relentless in the 56th minute of the game.
