The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Cordera got free with Cristobal Goito in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th match minute, SAN MARTIN F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Mendebal to maneuver through the defense. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Maximiliano Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Maidana in the 11th minute of play. Maximiliano Astudillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teofilo Maidana went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute, Teofilo Maidana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Astudillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Carabata Groove's Teofilo Maidana in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Maximiliano Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Bartolome in the 24th minute of the match. Teofilo Maidana took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximiliano Astudillo. Maximiliano Astudillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 38th minute Teofilo Maidana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Teofilo Maidana came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Carabata Groove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Maidana couldn't finish the play. Teofilo Maidana took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximiliano Astudillo. Maximiliano Astudillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Carabata Groove made a substitution. Mauro Elazar replaced Teofilo Maidana. Carabata Groove's Andreas Möller was substituted for Herbert Pilipiec. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Abelardo Roland made the kick off in the second half. Mauro Elazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maximiliano Astudillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Rios went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. A collision led to Carabata Groove getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Andreas Möller hit a great ball. Maximiliano Astudillo made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when David Rios sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute, Mauro Elazar made a precise shot to the right of Maximiliano Astudillo. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Maximiliano Astudillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Elazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Mauro Elazar took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Maximiliano Astudillo to make any attempt to save it. Maximiliano Astudillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Elazar's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Carabata Groove's Mauro Elazar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maximiliano Astudillo. Maximiliano Astudillo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Maximiliano Astudillo came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Carabata Groove's David Rios. But to his dismay, David Rios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. Maximiliano Astudillo made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when David Rios sent off a good shot on target. After 90 minutes, Mauro Ordono mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAN MARTIN F.C. and the Carabata Groove players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Carabata Groove booed when SAN MARTIN F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Ordono didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the SAN MARTIN F.C. defense, David Rios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximiliano Astudillo. The SAN MARTIN F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximiliano Astudillo should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Carabata Groove could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SAN MARTIN F.C. throughout the match.
