The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Iker Yashin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Rostholm's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Tomás Faria hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Nik Frisendal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Sulev Antsov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Nik Frisendal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iker Yashin. Bruce Lee F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nik Frisendal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, Bruce Lee F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rene Rostholm came free, but Iker Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28thth minute of the game Zé Augusto do Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Randers A.F.C.'s Nichlas Vesterdahl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rene Rostholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nik Frisendal in the 33rd minute of play forced Bruce Lee F.C.'s goalkeeper Iker Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nik Frisendal in the 33rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rene Rostholm in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Yashin saved Bruce Lee F.C. from getting behind. In the 41st minute Arthur Shelby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute Randers A.F.C. were awarded a corner. Børge Buhr went to the cornerflag to take it. The Bruce Lee F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Randers A.F.C. were winning 0-3.

In the 52nd minute Sulev Antsov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichlas Vesterdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nichlas Vesterdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nichlas Vesterdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulev Antsov, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Randers A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zé Augusto do Nascimento came free, but Nichlas Vesterdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Yashin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nik Frisendal in the 69th minute. Iker Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Rostholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Nichlas Vesterdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sulev Antsov in the 79th minute of the match. Rene Rostholm scored 0-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iker Yashin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Randers A.F.C.'s Hélder Soveral was substituted for Nik Frisendal. In the 91st minute, Børge Buhr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Zé Augusto do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichlas Vesterdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Randers A.F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
