With an all-out effort, Quebracho FC's Cristobal Goito threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yin Hong Fan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Adolfo Dolcet made in the 21st minute of the game a quick throw-in and David Rios immediately put the ball in play. Cristobal Goito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from He Yi Yuan in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Andreas Möller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Van Houdtvinck. Quebracho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andreas Möller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. He Yi Yuan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Cristobal Goito skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cristobal Goito made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when He Yi Yuan sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Elazar in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Van Houdtvinck saved Quebracho FC from getting behind. He Yi Yuans short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Cristobal Goito to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alexander Van Houdtvinck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Elazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carabata Groove made a substitution. Ambrosio Bartolome replaced Mauro Elazar. The Quebracho FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carabata Groove were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Hauk Hareide made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Carabata Groove got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Björklund. Quebracho FC's Alessio Borrelli was substituted for He Yi Yuan. In the 65th minute, Ambrosio Bartolome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristobal Goito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Flores in the 72nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Nicanor Flores made a precise shot to the right of Cristobal Goito. Carabata Groove's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 87 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Borrelli came free, but Cristobal Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Carabata Groove getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Zachary Bielenda hit a great ball. In the 90th minute of the match Yin Hong Fan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristobal Goito skillfully saved the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Alejandro Edur threw the ball into play from the sideline. Carabata Groove's Frasco Ferreira quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 94 played minutes Quebracho FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Edur. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Borrelli in the 97th minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Carabata Groove supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carabata Groove would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
