David Rios did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Ernesto Hibai 8 minutes into the match. Ernesto Hibai was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Andreas Möller capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andreas Möller really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Maximiliano Astudillo's late challenge caught a Carabata Groove's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Astudillo helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in SAN MARTIN F.C.'s zone, Mauro Elazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Hibai came out of the goal and Mauro Elazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Hibai was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Rios showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 16 minute of play. David Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ernesto Hibai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Rios in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Alvaro Eufrasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute Carabata Groove were awarded a corner. Verner Nordin went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Carabata Groove's corner Verner Nordin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ernesto Hibai quite easily take care of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Andreas Möller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Hibai. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andreas Möller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Rios in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Hibai saved SAN MARTIN F.C. from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when David Rios came free, but Ernesto Hibai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Elazar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Ernesto Hibai when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Carabata Groove's Mauro Elazar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Alvaro Eufrasio fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAN MARTIN F.C.'s protests and gave Alvaro Eufrasio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Alvaro Eufrasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the SAN MARTIN F.C. defense, Mauro Elazar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Hibai. Carabata Groove made a substitution. Ambrosio Bartolome replaced Mauro Elazar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hauk Hareide to make the kick off. Hauk Hareide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 54th minute Hauk Hareide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Hibai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Hibai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hauk Hareide's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Simon Canor made in the 57th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rigoberto Firmo. Ernesto Hibai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hauk Hareide went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the SAN MARTIN F.C. defense, Ambrosio Bartolome kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Hibai. The SAN MARTIN F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Hibai should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Ambrosio Bartolome notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Ernesto Hibai. Ernesto Hibai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 77 minutes of play, Carabata Groove's Hauk Hareide made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Hibai was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 83 minutes, Ambrosio Bartolome managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carabata Groove's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambrosio Bartolome was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Hauk Hareide left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carabata Groove fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 15-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hauk Hareide in the 89th minute of play forced SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goalkeeper Ernesto Hibai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hauk Hareide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ambrosio Bartolome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Carabata Groove fully deserved thier win.
