Eulalio Urbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milan Froněk in the 18th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Noureddine Sanchis put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eulalio Urbasa. Eulalio Urbasa made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Clovis Hénot sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clovis Hénot got free with Eulalio Urbasa in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO booed when Stiinta-Univ. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Oargă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stiinta-Univ.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Noureddine Sanchis scored to the left of an out of position Eulalio Urbasa, making the score, 2-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Noureddine Sanchis was the one to do the kick off. In the 75thth minute of the game Noureddine Sanchis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stiinta-Univ.'s Eulalio Urbasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Aurel Panait hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Stiinta-Univ.'s Aurel Panait got a free kick in the 77th minute. Noureddine Sanchis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eulalio Urbasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Stiinta-Univ.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Noureddine Sanchis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Stiinta-Univ. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO.
