In the 42nd minute Cai Yuan Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Leiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Leiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Yuan Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Pankracy Zajonc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Di Meo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When Florin Dragușin came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the MZ Fénix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florin Dragușin couldn't finish the play. If Cai Yuan Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thiago Leiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 86th minute of play. Fabio Di Meo made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bolli Boll. After 91 minutes, Fabio Di Meo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LEBEG Team and the MZ Fénix players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Fabio Di Meo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Cai Yuan Yuan managed to get in a good position for a shot. MZ Fénix's supporters rose to their feet, but Cai Yuan Yuan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Leiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. LEBEG Team had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
