Ivar Lindqvist started the match with the kick off. After 7 minutes of play, ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s Lucas Menossi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Crețu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulo Baldaia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Crețu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stiinta-Univ.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucas Menossi was slow to take the kick. During this time ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Txerran Mortal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Martin Crețu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Martin Crețu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Baldaia in the 13th minute of the match. With a little luck, ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s Dagoberto Zonta got control of the ball when Ivar Lindqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Virgil Oargă made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s Lucas Menossi. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Lucas Menossi managed to get in a good position for a shot. ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Menossi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Crețu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Ming Sheng in the 20th minute of play forced ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s goalkeeper Dagoberto Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dagoberto Zonta made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Aurel Panait sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute Paulo Baldaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Crețu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Baldaia scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Crețu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Stiinta-Univ.'s Aurel Panait slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dagoberto Zonta. That made the score 1-2 after 42 minutes of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Paulo Baldaia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Martin Crețu made a huge save. 61 minutes into the game, Stiinta-Univ.'s Aurel Panait nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dagoberto Zonta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨'s zone, Ivar Lindqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dagoberto Zonta came out of the goal and Ivar Lindqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ②Θ►LΘCΘ◄Θ⑨ made a substitution. King Køng replaced Txerran Mortal. Shi Ming Sheng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Zonta having to interfere. Martin Crețu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwo Bentkowski in the 81st minute of the match. Iwo Bentkowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Crețu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Bentkowski in the 90th minute of play forced Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Martin Crețu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stiinta-Univ. were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
