Bennvar Noobel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Celestiales booed when Plebeyos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Tuzzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bennvar Noobel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Celestiales's zone, Guilherme Basso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bennvar Noobel came out of the goal and Guilherme Basso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Plebeyos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Celestiales had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
