Alejandro Verdu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathijs Rokeloos in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Ballester in the 16th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 played minutes KFC Cromvelde got a freekick which was hit by Jochen Van den Panhuizen. When F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Bubu Denat in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Villarroel in the 36th minute of play. Gică Popescu kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mathijs Rokeloos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Verdu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herman Frans in the 55th minute of play. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bubu Denat in the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, KFC Cromvelde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andries Vermeiren to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute of the game Federico Zanetti made a throw-in which Bubu Denat played forward. Antoni Villarroel kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Mathijs Rokeloos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Wauters in the 78th minute of play forced F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's goalkeeper Alejandro Verdu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gică Popescu made in the 81st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bubu Denat however managed to control. Bubu Denat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jean-Louis Van Bever tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. KFC Cromvelde had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
