Ksawery Witkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ozan Heybetli's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. When FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Ozan Heybetli in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ozan Heybetli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ksawery Witkowski having to make a save. When Juan Mondaca came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Magallanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Mondaca couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ozan Heybetli in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ksawery Witkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the match, FC Hammarby Sjöstad's goalkeeper Sixten Tunander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Dessauer.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ozan Heybetli to make the kick off. Seran Turres made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Sarracino De la Rosa. A collision led to Magallanes getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tomás Thompson hit a great ball. Ksawery Witkowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ozan Heybetli went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Rafail Klenov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ksawery Witkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Ksawery Witkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ozan Heybetli, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Anacleto Dessauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Magallanes's Kadim Sebil was substituted for Juan Mondaca. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Sverker Byström was substituted for Sarracino De la Rosa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ozan Heybetli in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ksawery Witkowski saved Magallanes from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, FC Hammarby Sjöstad's goal looked a bit too open when Kadim Sebil came free, but Sixten Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Ksawery Witkowski threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ozan Heybetli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ksawery Witkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ozan Heybetli in the 88th minute of the match. Sixten Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kadim Sebil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Hammarby Sjöstad played a much better game than Magallanes and deserved their victory. The Magallanes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
