If Furo Furenbrink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th of the match, Furo Furenbrink tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Kalle Askberg got in the way and made a wonderful save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Alf Hansson made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Sundborn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Ekström to maneuver through the defense. Zhang Chang Yang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Hansson in the 54th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Håning in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zhang Chang Yang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55thth minute of the game Jan Håning who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C. Ferrari's Zhang Chang Yang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zhang Chang Yang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ted Holmgren in the 56th minute. Kalle Askberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gergely Bollobás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gergely Bollobás struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ferrari booed when Sundborn IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Magnus Hansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferrari's Zhang Chang Yang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save S.C. Ferrari from getting a goal against them. Kalle Askberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio de Andrade in the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sundborn IF's Erland Kvist got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Sundborn IF's Heigo Valt was substituted for Henning Bennet. After a defensive mix-up in Sundborn IF's zone, Acácio de Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kalle Askberg came out of the goal and Acácio de Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Sundborn IF defense, Tord Söderqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kalle Askberg. The Sundborn IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kalle Askberg should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sundborn IF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for S.C. Ferrari.
